Pacing

Spacing calls out on purpose so an account looks like a person using it, and what that buys you.

Pacing is deliberately not going as fast as you could: spacing requests out, and ramping a newly connected account up over its first days rather than handing it its full allowance on day one.

What it is not

It is not a guarantee. LinkedIn decides what LinkedIn decides, and nobody who tells you otherwise has read the terms. What pacing does is remove the most obvious reason for the decision to go against you: an account that did nothing for a month and then performed two hundred profile views in four minutes.

The part people skip

Pacing the API does not pace your product. If your tool lets somebody queue a thousand actions on a Monday morning, the queue drains at whatever rate it drains and the account sees the same burst a week later. Spread the work where it is created, not only where it is sent.

Warm-up is the same idea, earlier

A connection that has existed for an hour is not treated like one that has existed for a month, so give a new account a smaller allowance that grows over its first days. It feels slow, and it is slow on purpose: the first week of an integration is the week an account is most likely to be challenged, and the cheapest way through it is to do less.

The MakeHybrid API does not impose a ramp of its own, because the sign-in is a real sign-in. That makes the ramp yours to keep, and the same logic applies to it.

Questions people ask

Does an AI agent respect pacing?

Its calls go through the same front door as your code, so the same limits apply to them. What an AI agent lacks is patience: asked to enrich five hundred profiles, it will try. Ask for batches you would do by hand.

Do the project room settings slow LinkedIn calls down?

No. They cap AI replies and tool steps, which bounds how many calls one reply can make. Pacing LinkedIn is the plan's job.

Turn this into something that runs itself

Say what your business does and it becomes your own service and product in one: the work runs on its own, under your name, on your accounts and your AI key. The first 30 days are free, and nothing here needs an engineer.
